Empowering Your Journey Through Motherhood: A Supportive Path at the Perinatal Behavioral Health Clinic
Pregnancy and the first year of motherhood are times of incredible physical and emotional change. It’s a period filled with hope and joy, but for many women, it can also bring challenges, including anxiety and depression. If you’re experiencing these feelings, you’re not alone, and it’s important to seek support. The Perinatal Behavioral Health Clinic stands with you during this pivotal time.
The Perinatal Behavioral Health Clinic offers services to women from conception up to 12 months postpartum who are primarily experiencing anxiety and/or depression. A psychiatric evaluation is conducted to assess the nature of the behavioral problem(s) and to make treatment recommendations. Additional services may include psychotherapy, psycho-education, health promotion, and medication management.
Our clinic is dedicated to addressing the unique mental health needs of pregnant women and new mothers. We understand that while motherhood is a beautiful journey, it can also be overwhelming and sometimes overshadowed by feelings of anxiety and sadness. We offer specialized psychiatry consultations to assess your symptoms and provide personalized treatment recommendations.
