Martha Arbolario, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner
I decided to pursue a career in mental health after working for several years as a mental health and medical-surgical nurse. I realized that mental health is prominent regardless of specialty, and I wanted to help change the culture of managing mental health treatment. I find the most compelling part of my work is witnessing the transformative journey of my patients—helping them reclaim their lives is the greatest reward.
My approach to patient care is collaborative and patient-centered. I believe in building strong therapeutic relationships and actively listening to my patients. I aim to provide hope, validation, and integrative care that helps patients navigate their mental health challenges within a safe space. My goal is to be a partner in their treatment plans, making sure they feel supported at every step.
I spent most of my residency training at the Southern Nevada VA Women’s Health Mental Health Clinic, where I worked with trauma survivors and patients with substance use disorders. These experiences taught me that the interplay between hormonal changes, physical, and psychosocial health adds to the complexity of treating pregnant and postpartum individuals. Originally from Queens, New York, I am now proud to call Nevada my home and am dedicated to serving this community.
In addition to my clinical work, I volunteer at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my loved ones.
