Meet Tracey Gaebe Schulz, CGC
Genetic Counselor
There is so much to learn about ourselves and the future of our health when it comes to genetic testing. As a prenatal/preconception genetic counselor, I love helping patients understand their family health history and how it applies to their own personalized care. It’s important to me that my patients understand the implications of testing and how genetic information can affect their family members and future generations.
When people are aware of potential health concerns for themselves or their future children, they have the opportunity to be proactive about healthcare decisions. An active listening approach helps me better understand the specific needs of each patient and helps them make informed decisions about testing options in a safe, caring environment.
I am a board-certified and licensed genetic counselor with over 20 years of experience, dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized patient care. My approach blends technical expertise with the social aspects of counseling, ensuring that every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered in their healthcare decisions. I advocate for patients, ensuring they receive the information they need to make informed choices about their genetic health.
I have been proud to call Las Vegas home since 1998, though I grew up in California. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exercising, and being with my family, friends, and my German Shepherd. Traveling is a passion of mine—Hawaii holds a special place in my heart as it was home for four years.
My commitment is to provide outstanding, patient-centered care where individuals feel included in the decision-making process. Every patient deserves to feel supported and understood, and I strive to ensure they receive the highest level of care with empathy and expertise.
