Meet Damon I. Masaki, MD
In the early part of my medical training, my goal was to become a cardiologist. During my internal medicine residency, I was asked to evaluate and treat patients with serious medical problems who also happened to be pregnant. I found that I enjoyed the challenges and rewards of caring for expectant mothers and their babies. After earning board certification in internal medicine, I decided my calling was in maternal-fetal medicine. Nearly two decades later, I am still glad that I chose this subspecialty. It allows me to give the most advanced care to mothers-to-be who are counting on me to help them have the healthiest possible outcomes from their pregnancies.
At the High Risk Pregnancy Center, I get to work with a team that shares my commitment to patient care. Our physicians are not only exceptionally qualified, they are responsive and attentive, as are the other members of our staff.
Dr. Masaki is the proud father of two grown children and has been married for 32 years. In his free time, Dr. Masaki enjoys fishing and golfing and following his favorite baseball teams.
